Have you ever thought that the food was the best part of every great night?

We agree!

But have you settled for bland, unimaginative food simply because you had to? Us too. We believe there’s nothing worse than a disappointing food experience. We set out to give people amazing food and great service for every event.

Meet the Bonbite Team

Bonbite Co-founder and Executive Chef Winston Chiu headshot

A Brooklyn native, Winston spent his childhood summers helping with his family’s takeout service in the UK. That was before he realized his true calling as a chef. He studied Mathematics and Finance and worked as an actuary in a top risk consulting firm before deciding to change careers. After graduating from the Institute of Culinary Education, he apprenticed in restaurants like Betony and WD50, then worked as a chef for events with Brooklyn Brewery, DinnerLab, and Mary Guiliani Events. In 2014, he co- founded Bonbite with Kyley Cheever.

A founding and executive board member of Feed Forward and More Than a Meal, Winston continues to follow his passion for cooking, learning, and teaching—spearheading the development of the Food Education program at Avenues: The World School, and collaborating on new culinary and philanthropy projects in NYC.

KYLEY CHEEVER

Kyley can’t remember a time when she wasn’t passionate about food. Whether it’s an elaborate spread for a friend’s birthday or a quick mid-week meal for two, she believes in eating right. After graduating with a degree in Creative Marketing and Business from New York University, she worked in artist management and production with big brands like Warner Bros. Studios, CBS, HBO, Kleenex, and American Express at Matt Hoyle Studios. In 2014, Kyley co-founded Bonbite with Winston Chiu, marrying her two life- long passions for food and marketing.

Closing the gap between the meal New Yorkers want and the meal they end up with, Kyley loves being part of a constantly evolving project that supports the community. Her goal is to eliminate mediocre food so no one has to settle for anything less than the absolute best.
